Job description

Amazon is seeking current students for a Robotics Hardware Development Co-op in 2026, focusing on hardware specializations in robotics engineering, mechanical, electrical, and more. This role offers hands-on learning experiences and the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Currently working towards Bachelor's, Master's, or higher in Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM fields
  • Knowledge of hardware engineering fundamentals in one or more of mechanical, electrical, hardware test, hardware reliability, quality, failure analysis, manufacturing, or similar
  • Experience with hardware design, development, and testing
  • Experience with applicable hardware physical tools, digital tools, and methods (e.g. 3D CAD)

Responsibilities

  • Completing project tasks with a team of other co-ops and Amazon engineers
  • Utilizing Amazon engineering tools and processes
  • Prototyping and testing concepts or features
  • Tracking progress of task deliverables
  • Developing and maintaining design documentation
  • Presenting information to managers and engineers
