Job description

The Benefits Operations Analyst at Netflix is responsible for executing the operations strategy and administration of benefits programs, ensuring innovative offerings that align with the company's unique culture. This hybrid role involves collaboration with various teams to manage benefit programs, compliance, and employee inquiries across the U.S. and Canada.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in administering benefit programs, managing employee inquiries and benefits enrollment.
  • HR experience at entertainment and/or technology organizations (preferred but not required) or a similar industry that operates in a fast-paced and agile environment.
  • Experience using Workday is a plus.
  • Experience with leaves of absence and accommodation administration with expertise in applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Benefits Operations Manager to carry out the operations strategy, design, and administration of Netflix benefits.
  • Oversee and own the end-to-end operational execution of the benefit programs you support.
  • Partner closely with the Benefits Managers to implement and launch new benefit programs.
  • Be responsible for our financial, legal, and supplier management by partnering with Finance and AP.
  • Manage leave-of-absence cases in partnership with managers and HRBPs.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders such as Payroll and HRIS to ensure accurate data exchange.
  • Lead the operations of the annual Open Enrollment as well as other program implementations from start to finish.
  • Understand and execute the compliance landscape that governs UCAN benefits.
  • Create clear benefit communications and enhance our internal and external benefits site.

Benefits

  • Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
