Job description
As a Document Systems QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of internal document management systems by testing complex workflows and integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build automated test frameworks, and maintain document integrity and security across enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks in one of Playwright, Selenium
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL database queries for test validation
- Knowledge of log analysis using tools like Splunk for troubleshooting and monitoring
- Experience with API testing using Postman, or similar tools
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for document management systems and related internal services
- Perform integration testing between document systems and other enterprise applications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks
- Conduct full stack testing across frontend interfaces and backend services
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using test management tools
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Validate document workflows, permissions, and security controls meet business requirements
- Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, procedures, and reports
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide quality assurance insights during sprint planning
- Perform performance and load testing of document processing capabilities
