Job description

Meta is looking for a Connectivity Engineer to join the Design Engineering and Construction team, focusing on the execution of telecommunication projects within data centers. The role involves managing the full project life-cycle, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in project management
  • Experience engaging and guiding stakeholders
  • Experience providing solutions to construction related problems
  • Experience with Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and report on site project and program scope, schedules and milestones
  • Review ongoing projects for efficiencies in schedule and budget
  • Support project controls team with forecasting and budget efforts
  • Establish milestones for equipment purchase and track progress
  • Report progress and risks on site projects to key stakeholders
  • Work with installation partners to establish and track milestones
  • Responsible for all connectivity activities within construction projects
  • Perform physical inspections to ensure vendor work meets quality standards
  • Lead product evaluation, design, and installation methods in the field
  • Develop solutions to in-field scope-gap or clash issues
  • Liaise with construction partners to ensure deliverables are met
  • Ensure that vendors adhere to safety obligations
