Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Strong interest in hardware security and a background in computer architecture
- Hands-on experience in post-silicon validation and stress testing security features
- Proficiency in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools
- Experience in system programming using x86-64 assembly, C, and C++
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, Python, and Shell
- Proficient in working with Linux, Hypervisors, and Virtual environments
Responsibilities
- Drive technical innovation to improve AMD's capabilities across product development and validation.
- Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand new features and product specifications.
- Build test plans and documentation that account for interactions with hardware, firmware, and software driver use cases.
- Debug test failures to determine root causes and work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects.
- Track test execution to ensure all features are validated and optimized on time.
- Lead collaborative approaches with multiple teams to develop test plans and validation test cases.
- Coach junior engineers in day-to-day execution and debugging tasks.
