Job description

This role is part of the BITS team within Twitch's Commerce organization, focusing on enhancing viewer engagement with creators through innovative tools like Cheering and Power-ups. The team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of live streaming by developing both experimental features and established systems. Based in Seattle, WA, the position requires collaboration across teams to create impactful solutions. Ideal candidates will have a passion for gaming and streaming, along with strong technical skills.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional software development experience
  • A track record of building consumer-facing products that users love
  • Mastery of modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Sharp problem-solving skills with a focus on algorithms, data structures, and schema design
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience
  • Familiarity with Twitch's tech stack: Golang, Typescript/React
  • Experience with AWS technologies like ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions
  • A passion for gaming, streaming, or the Twitch platform
