Job description
The IT Solution Engineer will join the Corporate organization in Columbus, IN, focusing on Systems and Information Technology. This role emphasizes improving solution quality, enhancing system performance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. The engineer will support project delivery efficiency and ensure smooth system transitions while promoting secure and compliant solutions. Additionally, the position involves long-term system improvement and providing Level 3 support for critical issues.
Requirements
- A college, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related subject, or relevant equivalent experience is required.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of MDM concepts or database/SQL is good to have.
Responsibilities
- Improve solution quality by conducting technical analyses that identify viable options between COTS products and custom-built solutions.
- Enhance system performance and reliability through accurate configuration, verification, and documentation of application setups.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by gathering and translating business, technical, and integration requirements into clear workflows.
- Boost project delivery efficiency by supporting the design and documentation of solution components and architecture diagrams.
- Ensure smooth system transitions by contributing to data migration activities and following established procedures.
- Increase solution stability by assisting with testing and escalating issues appropriately.
- Promote secure and compliant solutions by participating in design, cybersecurity, and code reviews.
- Support long-term system improvement by analyzing existing systems and providing Level 3 support for critical issues.
