Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Experience with high precision mechanical hardware is required.
- Experience in either precision machine design or motion control is required.
- Willingness to grow in areas such as vibrations, controls, and Electromagnetics.
- Experience doing finite element analysis is required.
- Knowledge of MATLAB or LabVIEW and Python is required.
- Experience with CAD and a passion for design is required.
- Willingness for occasional domestic and international travel dependent on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Model, design, and prototype high performance linear and rotary motion systems.
- Develop, build, and test precision mechatronics subsystems.
- Use analytical and numerical methods for design decision making.
- Drive concept generation and design trade off studies to balance technical challenges and customer needs.
