Job description

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer at KLA will collaborate with development engineers to create product structures and ensure compliance with KLA standards before submitting Engineering Change Orders. This role involves close coordination with manufacturing and engineering services to manage the ECO process and release specifications. The engineer will also document the build process for new products and facilitate communication among global teams. The position emphasizes innovation and the development of advanced technologies in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical drawing standards.
  • Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with design teams to validate design deliverables for new product releases.
  • Manage communications related to the release effort among multi-functional teams across global locations.
  • Document the build process of new products through checklists and procedures.
  • Plan and implement new product releases with a focus on their impact on business systems.
