This role is part of the AWS Board Core Design & Services team, focusing on the architecture and development of next-generation server components. The position involves working with an interdisciplinary team to design, validate, and launch server technologies at scale. The team is responsible for system innovation and managing the fleet of servers in AWS data centers. The role emphasizes leadership in applying new technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience with analog power electronics, power supply circuitry, and circuit protection
• 7+ years of experience in developing power component functional specifications, design verification plans, root cause analysis, and resolution
• 7+ years of experience in server power system design
• Master’s degree or PhD in Power Electronics Engineering or related field is preferred
• 10+ years of experience in server power for cloud, enterprise, or other large-scale applications
• Strong expertise in DC-DC switch mode power supplies, circuit protection, and multi-phase CPU/memory VRs on motherboards
• Experience with I2C, PMBUS, SVID, sensors, and monitoring
• Experience guiding and reviewing PCB designs with Allegro, CAM350, or equivalent
• Strong organizational, planning, writing, and communications skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary teams
