The AWS Neuron Compiler team is looking for skilled compiler engineers to enhance a cutting-edge deep learning compiler stack. This role focuses on optimizing application models from frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow for advanced machine learning accelerators. As a ML Compiler Engineer II, you will work on improving the Neuron Compiler's accuracy and reliability through innovative tooling. The position emphasizes collaboration within a science-driven team to push the boundaries of compiler technology.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- 2+ years of experience in developing compiler features and optimizations.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming applied to compiler or verification projects.
- Familiarity with LLVM, including knowledge of abstract interpretation and polyhedral domains.
- A Master's degree or PhD in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Understanding of large language model (LLM) training processes.
- Knowledge of CUDA programming for GPU acceleration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tooling for improving the Neuron Compiler's accuracy and reliability.
- Lead efforts in building fuzzers and specification synthesis tooling for the LLVM-based compiler.
- Collaborate with a science-focused team to advance compiler technology.
- Push the boundaries of what is known to deliver optimal solutions for customers.
