Job description

The System Engineer role at Amazon Leo for Government involves working within a multi-disciplinary technology team focused on developing innovative satellite communication solutions. The System Engineer will engage in designing, integrating, and testing satellite systems while collaborating with various partners to exceed customer expectations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering principles and techniques.
  • 4+ years of RF system engineering, communications systems, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with ground and user terminal integration.
  • Experience in verification plan and test plan development related to established test standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of space segment systems engineering.
  • Collaborates with technical program management and product management leadership.
  • Applies an interdisciplinary approach to plan, design, develop, and verify space segment products.
  • Deep-dives into satellite subsystems functions and interfaces.
  • Participate in software-to-hardware integration and test activities.
