Job description

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Product Support Engineering Service Engineer to enhance the reliability of ultra-fast drone delivery operations. This role involves collaborating with design engineering and operations teams to investigate system performance issues and implement improvements. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights to optimize drone system metrics and enhance customer experience. Strong technical communication skills and a background in systems engineering are essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience in systems engineering
  • Experience participating in or leading technical collaborations across diverse groups
  • Experience with Amazon fulfillment network system architecture
  • Experience analyzing dependencies, tradeoffs, and sensitivities across multi-disciplinary systems

Responsibilities

  • Investigate drone system performance for anomalies and deliver solutions to operations and maintenance team escalations.
  • Lead cross-functional system investigations with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize drone system performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights to establish benchmark standards and reduce operational burdens.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for technical procedures.
  • Deliver measurable system behavior improvements based on data analysis that impacts customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and operational partners.
