As a Software Engineer in the NoSQL and in-memory database team at AWS, you will focus on developing large-scale, distributed in-memory databases with sub-millisecond latency. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Develop large-scale, distributed in-memory databases with sub-millisecond latency
- Leverage open source technologies like Redis and Memcached
- Implement low level optimizations and asynchronous messaging
- Create real-time failure detection systems and ensure high availability
- Mentor other engineers and enable a quality product
