This role is for an innovative engineer focused on designing next-generation fulfillment centers and logistics systems globally. The engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal and external teams to create high-quality, cost-effective solutions. They will manage multiple projects from concept to design approval and serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience.
- A Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in management of engineering design projects.
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and packaging technologies.
- Experience with design-in-safety and process design based on Lean Principles.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
- Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval.
- Act as the primary point of technical contact for suppliers on projects.
- Ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems.
- Work on a variety of projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
