The Sr. Vehicle Quality Engineer will ensure excellence across a diverse fleet of vehicles, including conventional and electric delivery vehicles. This role is part of Amazon's Global Vehicle Programs and Engineering team, which focuses on developing a safe and sustainable transportation ecosystem. The engineer will manage complex quality issues and collaborate with various stakeholders to influence critical business decisions. • 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
• 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, statistical analysis, and electronic system design.
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and high-speed manufacturing.
• Experience with design-in-safety.

• Lead vehicle quality across design, manufacturing, and product execution.
• Analyze and track field performance data from internal and external sources.
• Conduct quality investigations and root cause analysis using statistical methods.
• Manage software quality as program lead and coordinate with OEM and internal software teams.
• Ensure hardware-software integration quality and validate software deployment.
• Drive first-time quality with manufacturers and technology partners.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and investigate new technologies.
