The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will be a key member of the Amazon Leo Government team, focusing on the design and analysis of satellite and ground systems. This role involves delivering innovative solutions for power electronics sub-systems that support communication and control needs. The engineer will interact with customers to ensure that technical requirements are met and will lead various design tasks. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other engineers and partner organizations to achieve project goals.

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in hardware development across the full product life cycle.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering work experience in Space, Aerospace/Defense, Automotive, and/or Communications fields.
• Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools and with PCB design and debugging.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent is preferred.

• Interact directly with customers to understand technical requirements and translate them into robust solutions.
• Responsible for electrical circuit design for hosting sensitive RF and communications payloads.
• Design electronic circuits including Analog Power circuits and switch mode power supplies.
• Analyze designed circuits using software tools for performance and characterization.
• Identify top level customer requirements and ensure high quality designs are pursued.
• Perform electrical design and layout trade studies for electrical and power sub-systems.
• Deliver well-written documentation, reports, and presentations for technical design reviews.
• Design and support test campaigns for space hardware.
