Job description

The Data Engineer role at Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores-Grocery Management Tech team focuses on leading cross-functional strategic initiatives to support the grocery business. The position involves collaborating with various teams to design and implement data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience in data warehouse technical architectures and data modeling
  • Knowledge of AWS tech stack including AWS Redshift, S3, EC2, and Glue
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, ODI, and SSIS
  • Familiarity with business intelligence reporting tools like Tableau and Cognos
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java
  • Experience with non-relational databases and Big Data architecture
  • AWS certification or a similar cloud certification

Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-call rotation to support reporting and analytical applications
  • Lead data integration, reporting, and analytics projects
  • Design and implement scalable data models and ETL processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers and Product Managers
