Job description

The role is for an experienced software engineer on the Incident Mitigation team, focusing on building large-scale systems across multiple data centers. The team is responsible for developing core software components critical to AWS's database services. Engineers will work collaboratively to solve complex technical challenges while ensuring high standards for safety and security. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
