Amazon Web Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a global engineering team focused on designing and innovating data center electrical systems. Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers or power generation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Experience with building codes and regulations for the region.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Create data center electrical designs and collaborate with other disciplines to develop a construction document set.
- Ensure designs meet quality and budgetary requirements.
- Work with local agencies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements.
- Review and approve equipment submittals.
- Define project scope and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Collaborate with commissioning teams to test and validate electrical systems.
- Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite field engineers.
