Join the AWS Hardware Engineering team as an Embedded Software Engineer, focusing on developing embedded software for critical power infrastructure in data centers. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of ARM CPUs
• Experience writing low level drivers
• Knowledge in one of the communication protocols I2C, SPI, USB, UART

• Design and develop firmware solutions for AWS servers.
• Lead the complete development lifecycle from initial conception through production deployment.
• Architect and implement firmware deployment strategies that minimize customer impact.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and validation teams.
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration into our firmware stack.
• Drive technical solutions for problems balancing security requirements and operational efficiency.
• Tailor firmware solutions specifically for the AWS environment.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
