We are looking for Robotics Software Engineers to join our software team at Frontier AI & Robotics. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions for various AI robotics hardware. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance our robotic systems and tackle complex challenges in AI and robotics. The team is dedicated to advancing intelligent robotics through innovative research and practical applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Work with mechanical, control, EE, and ML engineering teams to integrate sensors and actuators
- Design and build a software framework to accelerate the development of full robotics applications
- Collaborate with AI researchers to develop inferencing, training, and evaluation software for robotics controls
- Create a testing environment for hardware, software, and policy testing and quality assurance
