Job description

The Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) team at Amazon is focused on creating and maintaining advanced technical infrastructure across various sectors such as Fulfillment Centers and Logistics. This role involves designing technology solutions to solve complex business problems while ensuring secure and efficient operations. The team values innovation and customer experience, providing solutions that support business initiatives. Candidates will work autonomously and collaboratively to enhance existing systems and documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
  • Experience building services using AWS products.
  • Experience utilizing AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience with distributed systems at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver technology solutions that address difficult business problems.
  • Identify and solve ambiguous problems and architectural deficiencies.
  • Work closely with Product Management to break down feature requirements into software deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure and performant software features and systems.
  • Participate in software and system design reviews.
  • Engage in the team on-call rotation to manage critical issues.
