Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification.
- 1+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
- 1+ years of technical troubleshooting or support experience.
- 1+ years of networking experience.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services.
- Experience with systems administration on either Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the operational scalability that sustains the platform's growth.
- Measure success and ensure visibility of outcomes.
- Participate in deep-dive troubleshooting and technical post-mortem discussions.
- Consult with top engineers at Amazon to address customer issues.
- Investigate metrics and trends to identify root causes of problems.
- Become an expert in AWS Services platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation.
