Job description

The Machine Learning Engineer position at Amazon Web Services (AWS) involves working at the forefront of Machine Learning and AI to design and implement scalable AI/ML solutions tailored to customer needs. The role requires collaboration with customers to identify high-value use cases and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The AWS Professional Services team is dedicated to helping customers achieve their business objectives through innovative cloud solutions. Candidates must possess a Top Secret security clearance and be US Citizens.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
  • Experience in professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle
  • Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer needs.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve real-world business problems.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high-value AI/ML use cases and gather requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance on applying AI, machine learning, and generative AI responsibly and cost-efficiently.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on the latest advancements in AI/ML and innovative approaches to leveraging diverse data sources.
