We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our interdisciplinary team focused on developing innovative technologies for package transportation and delivery. This role involves working with hardware, firmware, software, and system engineers to create solutions that enhance the delivery experience. You will guide drivers in delivering packages efficiently and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction. The position emphasizes collaboration and the use of cutting-edge technologies in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain systems that enable an innovative package delivery experience
- Collaborate with team members to investigate approaches and prototype new technology
- Evaluate technical feasibility of new solutions
- Ensure high quality of deliverables from concept to launch
