• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
• Proficiency in Rust

• Build high-throughput, cost-effective data pipelines to support feature extraction and indexing for the information retrieval system.
• Develop and optimize core algorithms in Rust and ranking models for the search engine.
• Design and implement efficient data structures and indexing techniques for massive amounts of web data.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of the search engine's core components.
• Collaborate with machine learning teams to integrate advanced models for query understanding and ranking.
• Develop and maintain control plane systems that manage the IR system infrastructure.
• Design and implement real-time updates and freshness mechanisms for the search engine.
• Develop efficient streaming algorithms for processing large datasets.
