Job description

The role is for a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) within the Amazon Annapurna Labs team, focusing on building and applying AI agents to enhance customer adoption of Trainium and Inferentia technologies. The team is part of AWS Utility Computing, which innovates cloud services for customers, including specialized security solutions. The position involves collaboration across diverse teams to solve complex technical challenges and improve service performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and experience in machine learning and generative AI.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Hands-on technical experience working in the Generative AI space
  • 1+ years in machine learning or computational modeling environments
