Job description

The role is for a customer-focused software design engineer tasked with improving the quality of Amazon's extensive e-commerce catalog. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience working with AWS Services
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
