The role is for an innovative engineering leader within the Worldwide Process Engineering Innovation team at Amazon Logistics. The focus is on developing next-generation delivery stations and logistics systems to enhance customer experience. The position requires collaboration with various internal and external teams to design high-quality solutions for last mile delivery. The successful candidate will manage complex initiatives and advocate for customer needs while driving innovation at scale.

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience.
• 5+ years of integration, testing and automation experience.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.
• Experience designing solutions for large, high-volume sorting operations.
• Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field.
• Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineering tools.

• Lead idea generation for innovative design and process solutions to existing operational problems.
• Create documentation to share innovative design and process solutions, process maps, and design standards.
• Generate structured plans to turn innovative design and process solutions from ideas to assessment, pilot, and finally expansion.
• Own and deliver against plans, providing network reporting, financial approval, and leadership approval for all stages of program progression.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the area of ownership, providing expertise to other engineering teams.
• Build large-scale business proposals based on innovation designs for Worldwide Operations Engineering.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by following through with requests and ensuring needs are met accurately and immediately.
• Own internal process innovations across the Engineering Organization, including road-mapping and planning.
