The ideal candidate will work with a diverse team to ensure excellence in data center control systems while driving innovation and cost reductions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to sophisticated innovations in building controls and automation for the world's largest cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in building operations, mechanical plant strategies, and control diagrams.
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate specification documents and Basis of Design standards for global projects.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for multiple internal and external groups regarding BMS/EPMS controls standards.
  • Lead vendor selection processes, bid reviews, and RFI support and coordination.
  • Operate successfully in high-security, mission-critical environments while maximizing productivity.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support the global data center control system infrastructure.
  • Collaborate through design reviews to drive consistent standards across all delivery methods.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
