As an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, ensuring their design, operation, and maintenance meet high standards. You will collaborate with diverse teams to troubleshoot issues, develop innovative solutions, and lead engineering audits. This role emphasizes both office and field work, allowing you to engage directly with data center operations. You will be instrumental in enhancing capacity, availability, and efficiency while fostering an inclusive team culture.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial, municipal, or commercial engineering, particularly in data centers.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment related to data centers.
• Direct experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission-critical facilities.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Possess data analytics skills and comfort with working in large data environments.

• Troubleshoot and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for site and equipment failures.
• Support operational issues with training and complex procedure reviews.
• Own the conceptual design for data center upgrades and solutions.
• Interface with internal teams to promote standards for service consistency.
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers.
• Initiate and lead engineering audits, producing reports with risk assessments.
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects, supporting commissioning and turnover.
