Job description

The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer with a strong machine learning background. The role focuses on developing novel training techniques and optimizations for Large Language Models (LLMs). Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations
  • Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists to advance the state of LLMs
  • Leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources
  • Deliver new features and products with a commitment to teamwork and communication
