Amazon Prime Air is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Development Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and testing critical features for embedded applications that power the Prime Air Drone. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware development and a passion for solving complex problems. You will collaborate with top-notch developers and hardware teams to innovate and drive the future of delivery technology.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience
- Experience in embedded development in C/C++
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience writing low level drivers or with interrupt service routines
- Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
- Experience with board bring-up and debugging hardware using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test critical features for embedded applications and platforms that power the Prime Air Drone
- Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for complex functional and performance issues
- Collaborate with hardware teams and vendors to enable new computing hardware and functionality
