• 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one US state
• Experience in mentoring, leading, or managing junior engineers
• Demonstrated expertise in header steel design for conveyor or similar suspended systems
• Knowledge of seismic design and lateral force-resisting systems
• Experience using technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, or SketchUp

• Develop complete structural steel permit sets for conveyor support systems, including header steel and connection details.
• Oversee and perform comprehensive loading calculations for material handling equipment.
• Create calculation templates and design guidelines for use across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to integrate structural requirements with equipment specifications.
• Respond to RFIs during construction phases and conduct site visits for compliance verification.
• Perform design checks and peer reviews of structural calculations and permit drawings.
• Coordinate with architects and other disciplines to integrate conveyor support systems.
