The AWS Graviton Software team is looking for Software Engineers to enhance performance for AWS Graviton, which provides superior price/performance in AWS data centers. The role involves optimizing software performance across various applications, including databases and machine learning workloads. Engineers will work on open source projects and contribute to Linux kernel improvements while developing automation solutions. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Enhance architectures and algorithms for optimal performance
- Use tools to identify bottlenecks and analyze metrics
- Optimize software performance for AWS customers and services
- Contribute to Linux kernel improvements and other open source projects
