As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Log-Level Data team, you will build foundational infrastructure to capture, process, store, and analyze petabyte-scale raw data. This role focuses on enhancing transparency and measurement solutions for Amazon's largest advertising partners. You will work with advanced analytics capabilities, leveraging AI and data solutions to empower customers in making impactful advertising decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for tackling complex challenges.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with natural language processing and generative model architectures
• Demonstrated track record of innovative AI solution development

• Design and build highly scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines to ingest, process, and store petabyte-scale log-level advertising data.
• Architect distributed systems that enable real-time and batch processing of granular event-level data.
• Develop robust data quality frameworks to validate, cleanse, and enrich raw log data.
• Create efficient storage solutions optimized for high-throughput writes and complex analytical queries.
• Build APIs and data access layers for downstream analytics, modeling, and reporting applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish operational excellence practices including monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms.
