The Quality Engineer role at Amazon Robotics focuses on driving quality activities for the deployment of Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics solutions. The position is part of the Technology Deployment team within the Robotics Deployment and Packaging Innovation organization. The ideal candidate will develop and implement a Quality Management System while collaborating with various stakeholders. This global role requires a passion for continuous improvement and effective communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, process engineering, project management, mechanical or robotics assembly and install.
• 2+ years of experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools or any other industry standard process improvement tools.
• Six Sigma Green Belt.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, process engineering, project management, mechanical or robotics assembly and install.
• 5+ years of experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools or any other industry standard process improvement tools.

• Collaborate with design engineering and TD teams to define quality requirements in work instructions and verification plans.
• Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining quality standards tailored to TD.
• Perform Quality Review of NPI deliverables for deployment engineering.
• Own development of quality key performance indicators including tracking, monitoring and reporting.
• Assist in adopting and maintaining an appropriate sampling plan for inspection of assembled and installed technologies.
• Partner with deployment engineering to perform Measurement System Analysis on critical inspection, test and measurement systems.
• Own calibration/certification program for critical tools and equipment used by 3rd party assemblers and deployment engineers.
• Perform on-site quality audits of deployment and drive implementation and effectiveness of remediation.
