• 10+ years of experience designing electromechanical enclosures and integrating mechanisms into robotics systems
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Expertise in thermal management of densely packed electromechanical systems
• Hands-on experience building prototypes and debugging subsystems
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
• Proficiency documenting designs in accordance with ANSI Y-14.5
• Experience designing and debugging tooled components
• Ability to support domestic and international travel as required by the program
• Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

• Author functional requirements, design verification plans, and test procedures
• Execute product designs that meet the established requirements
• Build and test mechanical subsystem prototypes and integrated systems
• Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
• Work efficiently to support rapid schedules
• Collaborate with Electrical and Controls engineers on design projects
• Manage technical projects effectively
