The Robotics Technical Services (RTS) Field Support team is focused on providing critical support for advanced robotics systems within Amazon's fulfillment network. In this role, you will act as a liaison between on-site technicians and engineering teams, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. You will be responsible for launching new systems, developing maintenance procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical support experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and visualization tools like Tableau
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing multiple competing priorities
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#
- Experience in managing system health and performance monitoring
- Familiarity with industry standard CAD & FEA design tools
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support for new product implementations and troubleshooting of advanced robotics systems
- Partner with site-level RME teams to maximize system performance
- Identify and resolve mechanical and system issues across the RTS product suite
- Design and implement tools and diagnostic solutions to minimize downtime
- Develop proactive monitoring tools for safety and performance measurement
- Create standard operating procedures and preventative maintenance protocols
- Design and lead training sessions for on-site RME teams
- Develop spare parts management systems and processes
- Produce performance reports and provide customer feedback to development teams
- Travel up to 50% as required
