Job description
Amazon is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to focus on system design, implementation, and manufacturing release. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both analog and digital circuit design and will be responsible for leading a team of Electrical Engineers. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. The position reports directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in electrical, firmware, and system level design
- Experience with prototyping and implementation
Responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production.
- Own a large component of a subsystem from concept to fielding.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Write and develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
- Architect, design, and implement complex embedded systems and circuit designs.
- Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments.
- Execute tasks to tight schedules.
- Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems.
