The Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Engine team is seeking experienced software engineers focused on query optimization to build large-scale database systems for the cloud. This role involves designing and developing significant software components that ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Engineers will work in a collaborative environment with a senior team, tackling challenging problems in distributed systems and database internals. Requirements
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 7+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operations experience
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL internals
Responsibilities
