The Commissioning Engineer at AWS is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the commissioning of critical infrastructure for new construction and special projects. • 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers or power generation.
• 4+ years of commissioning experience.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.
• Professional Engineer License is preferred.

• Oversee and coordinate multi-discipline work related to design review and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure.
• Support vendors, contractors, and teams involved in the construction and commissioning of various systems.
• Develop and review electrical and mechanical component testing and commissioning documents.
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and policies during commissioning procedures.
• Audit commissioning activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
• Communicate proactively with the ACx Regional Manager and team regarding test documents and commissioning requirements.
• Provide comprehensive weekly reporting on the status of ongoing projects and program improvements.
