This position requires a blend of technical and analytical skills to drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure successful supplier integration and performance.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in supplier management or manufacturing engineering for aerospace, automotive, robotics, or high-precision hardware.
  • Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Influence design, sourcing, and manufacturing strategies through data-backed should-cost models.
  • Lead multi-supplier readiness and rate-scaling initiatives to ensure alignment with roadmap and launch objectives.
  • Govern complex technical changes and manufacturing validations to ensure design intent and reliability.
  • Establish global supplier health and risk frameworks to drive standardization and accountability.
  • Drive systemic improvement programs that eliminate recurring issues and enhance supplier maturity.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and partner teams to embed operational rigor into daily execution.
  • Act as a technical and operational leader, representing Supply Chain Engineering in strategic reviews.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
