The role involves working at the intersection of software drivers and GPU simulation, contributing to the development of core infrastructure for modeling and analyzing graphics and computing chips. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant software development work experience
- Strong C++ programming capability
- Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns
- Understanding of the software driver stack, either in compute (CUDA) or graphics (DX, OpenGL, or Vulkan)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability for working in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Play a critical part in every stage of GPU development
- Thrive at the interface between software drivers and GPU simulation
- Become the specialist for running software applications directly on simulated GPUs
- Capture instrumentation requirements from GPU architects for next-gen improvements
- Coordinate with GPU architects to enable functional and performance testing for the next architecture
- Work closely with software teams to deliver production-ready drivers when silicon goes to market
- Improve daily workflows of leading chip modelers and designers globally
