Job description

The role is focused on solving complex testing challenges and developing methodologies for reliable testing of semiconductor chips within NVIDIA's System Level Product Engineering team. This team is dedicated to crafting innovative solutions for system level diagnostics, verification, and post-silicon validation. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with various engineering groups to enhance workflows and resolve silicon issues. A strong emphasis is placed on continuous improvement and effective communication.

Requirements

  • BSEE or MSEE degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant product engineering work experience or similar hardware systems background.
  • Self-motivated with strong technical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Problem solving experience and ability.
  • Experience with HBM/GDDR Memory is a plus.
  • Software skills needed for large scale data analysis such as Python.
  • Experience with PC architecture, PCIe busses, and DRAM/DDR is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex testing challenges and develop new methodologies for reliable testing of chips at SLT.
  • Characterize, enhance yield, and validate specifications.
  • Partner with other engineering groups to coordinate efforts and resolve silicon issues.
  • Initiate and drive process improvements and preventative actions through root cause analysis.
  • Continuously look to improve workflows, products, functions, and methodologies.
