NVIDIA is seeking a technical leader to manage and mentor a team of software engineers focused on creating scalable and reliable enterprise software platforms. This role emphasizes automation, self-service, and clear documentation to support engineering and IT teams globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills to drive engineering excellence and improve operational efficiency. The position involves overseeing the development of REST APIs and collaborating with various stakeholders to align priorities and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of proven experience managing and leading software engineering teams.
- 12+ overall years of experience in infrastructure or platform-focused environments.
- Strong technical background in designing and operating REST APIs at scale for internal or enterprise users.
- Experience overseeing systems involving provisioning, metrics, monitoring, and infrastructure management workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, cloud deployments, and AWS.
- Working knowledge of Python and Go.
- Exposure to JavaScript frameworks and UI design.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers responsible for designing, building, and operating an enterprise software engineering platform.
- Set technical direction and architectural standards for platforms that manage workflows across enterprise software, appliances, networks, and open-source technologies.
- Oversee the design, evolution, and reliability of REST APIs used by thousands of engineers.
- Guide the development and integration of provisioning, metrics, monitoring, and management software.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Partner multi-functionally with infrastructure, security, IT, and product stakeholders.
- Establish best practices for documentation, testing, and operational readiness.
- Plan and manage team execution, including project prioritization and milestone tracking.
