Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior AI Compute Engineer to join its Infrastructure Specialists team, focusing on deploying and managing AI Compute systems. The role involves working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement large-scale AI Compute projects. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to handle dynamic customer interactions. The position requires expertise in Linux-based environments and a commitment to delivering high-quality support for sophisticated systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years providing in-depth support and deployment services for hardware and software products.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux system administration and advanced networking.
- Minimum of a four-year degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Scripting proficiency in languages such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
- Experience with schedulers like SLURM, LSF, or UGE.
- Ability to travel to customer sites within the United States up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and validate AI Compute/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments.
- Act as the domain expert with customers during planning calls and implementation.
- Provide handover-related documentation and perform knowledge transfers to support customers.
- Offer feedback to internal teams by documenting workarounds and suggesting improvements.
