The Software Engineer role at Parametric focuses on developing high-quality, client-facing systems within the Digital team. This position involves collaborating with global development teams to design, develop, and support technology solutions that enhance client experiences. The role emphasizes frontend development using Angular and requires a strong understanding of both frontend and backend integration. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative investment tools and improve system performance and resiliency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack web application development experience managing all aspects of technical projects.
- 3+ years of experience in web and REST API development using asp.net core.
- 3+ years of experience in creating modern web frameworks using Angular.
- 2+ years of Azure cloud-native development experience.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database platforms.
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to demonstrate understanding of business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own one or more major sub-systems in the Digital Platform.
- Develop complex, user-facing features using Angular.
- Translate product and UX requirements into scalable Angular components.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define APIs and drive frontend design.
- Design and develop custom product features on the Digital roadmap.
- Enhance the client experience through engaging applications and APIs.
- Contribute to automated testing via unit, integration, and functional test suites.
- Conduct code reviews of other developers.
