Job description

As a Lead Safety Architect at NVIDIA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of autonomous vehicle technology. You will work alongside innovative engineers to integrate safety measures into the latest DRIVE products. This position focuses on defining safety architecture and requirements while delivering safety concepts for continuous software delivery. Your contributions will help achieve NVIDIA's high safety standards and make a significant impact in the field of autonomous driving.

Requirements

  • MS or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • A structured approach to systems and software development.
  • Proven record of successfully leading multi-functional efforts in architecture, development, or verification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-functional initiatives to define safety architecture and requirements for autonomous vehicles.
  • Deliver safety concepts and analysis to enable continuous and safe software deliveries.
  • Define and improve safety metrics in collaboration with experts in perception, AI, motion planning, and safety architecture.
  • Improve processes and tools for safety analysis and data-driven evaluation.
  • Share safety analysis and readiness results with colleagues and management.
